Have you heard? Wednesday is for the dogs here at Paddle to the Core. So come celebrate the arrival of summer with a dog paddle at Paddle to the Core! Bring you pup out for a 1-hour paddle – a life jacket for your pup is required! This 1-hour session is $30 and must be reserved ahead of time. We have a limited supply of dog life jackets, so please bring your own if you have one, or call ahead at 567-6128 to make sure we have one that will fit your dog! New paddlers will need to complete an Easy SUP class before bringing your dog along for a ride. 

Tonight’s solar eclipse was amazing! Our Solar Eclipse Paddle event took to the water at 5:30pm, equipped with special shades to allow us to view the sun (and a HUGE thank you to our very own Brandon Perry, who graciously supplied us with the solar viewing glasses). Conditions on the lake were exceptional; no wind, glassy water, and nothing in sight but our fellow paddlers as we gazed at the amazing solar show! We headed down to the village to secure a good viewing spot. The sun was very bright without the special sunglasses…

But with them, we were treated to an amazing view of the moon moving in front of the sun…
